The Heart of the Buddha's Path
The Joy of Living and Dying in Peace
    The Transformed Mind
An Open Heart - The Dalai Lama
The Heart of the Buddha''s Path
The Dalai Lama describes how to bring wisdom and compassion into daily life. He explores the fundamentals of the Buddha''s teaching, from basic advice on how to deal with anger and other emotions, to the importance of compassion. Based on talks given by the Dalai Lama in London, this book includes the text of his first discourse in the West on the Four Noble Truths, as well as advice on how to develop compassion and combine a spiritual path with the demands of end-of-millennium life.
The Joy of Living and Dying in Peace
A third volume in the Library of Tibet series which looks at the universal questions of how we can achieve meaningful lives and peaceful deaths. The Dalai Lama advises the reader to cultivate compassion and positive thoughts and actions, and the book gives guidance on doing this.
    The Transformed Mind
In his characteristically endearing and informal style, His Holiness the Dalai Lama examines the nature of the human mind and emphasises the need to transform it if we want to lead more fulfilling lives.
An Open Heart - The Dalai Lama
'It is my hope that the reader of this small book will take away a basic understanding of Buddhism and some of the key methods by which Buddhist practitioners have cultivated compassion and wisdom in their lives. The methods discussed have been taken from three sacred texts of Buddhism. I would like to stress at the outset, however, that one doesn''t have to be a Buddhist to make use of these meditation techniques.
